This Independence Day, there is going to be a huge clash at the Bollywood box office. Two big movies, both riding on nationalist sentiments and having two heroes looking to be this generation's Manoj Kumar, are releasing on August 15. So there is Akshay Kumar's Gold and John Abraham's Satyamev Jayate clashing on the same day. While Gold is a period sports drama, Satyamev Jayate is a vigilante action thriller. Here's a little info about both the movies that will help ease you in choosing which film should be your Independence Day pick.

Starting off with Gold, it is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment. Reema Kagti, who previously made Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd and Talaash for the banner, is directing Gold. Aisha Sharma, actress Neha Sharma's sister, is making her Bollywood debut with Satyamev Jayate. The Dilbar Dilbar remix, featured on Nora Fatehi and John Abraham, has become a rage on social media. Owing to the violence and strong material, the Censor Board has passed Satyamev Jayate with an A Rating.
