The Preamble to the Indian Constitution was amended during the 42nd Amendment but before that it had words that said, 'sovereign democratic republic' on it. However, post amendment it was changed to 'sovereign, socialist secular democratic republic.' However, Alia probably failed to spot the difference between the both and ended up posting the picture of the preamble from before the amendment was done. Earlier, a similar incident happened with actor Farhan Akhtar. He posted a graphic on Twitter which had an 'inaccurate' map of India. He soon realized his mistake and posted an apology note saying that he rejects the inaccurate posted by himself and that he regrets not noticing earlier. He also urged fans to join him for the protest held at August Kranti Maidan, Mumbai.
