Baaghi 2 has become 2018's highest opening day grosser, establishing Tiger Shroff as a star with tremendous box office appeal on par with that of the best. Baaghi 2 is also his first hit in two year, after the back to back debacles of A Flying Jatt and Munna Michael. Like the first Baaghi, the sequel provides the young star with a penchant for martial arts skills with much opportunities to display his prowess, only that he is given a much bigger scope and arena to do so.

Baaghi 2 is directed by Ahmed Khan and also stars Disha Patani, Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Deepak Dobriyal, Prateik Babbar and Darshan Kumar. Jacqueline Fernandez appears in the remix version of Madhuri Dixit's iconic Ek Do Teen song from Tezaab. The movie is an unofficial remake of the Telugu hit Kshanam.
