Batla House is based on Operation Batla House of 2008. From the posters to the teaser to the trailer, it was intriguing. John Abraham is playing the role of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav and Mrunal as his wife, Nandita Yadav. There are situations in the story, where she has to present the news of the encounter, in which her husband (a police officer) is involved.
