Ajith Kumar aka Thala, as his fans call him, is returning as the leading man in Nerkonda Paarvai. The movie marks the debut of Boney Kapoor as a producer in Tamil Cinema, made as per the wishes of his late wife, actress Sridevi. Nerkonda Paarvai, directed by H Vinoth, is a remake of the 2016 Bollywood film, PINK, that starred Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead. Ajith Kumar steps into Amitabh Bachchan's shoes, playing a lawyer defending three innocent girls accused of attempt to murder on a bureaucrat's son.
