Vijay's upcoming movie, Sarkar, is turning out to be a huge phenomenon. The movie reunites with the superstar with one of his favourite directors, AR Murugadoss. Muragadoss has earlier directed Thalapathy Vijay in films like Thupakki and Kaththi, and both the films have been blockbusters at the box office. Sarkar's first posters have been well-received by the fans, and they are eagerly waiting for the first promo of the film. So when can we see that happening, Mr Vijay and Mr Murugadoss?

The shooting for the film has begun in January this year. The recent update about the film is that Vijay has completed the shoot of Sarkar. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who plays one of the female leads, also posted a video of the last day shoot wrap-up.

Sun Pictures, who is producing Sarkar, has been regularly posting pictures from the sets on Twitter -

Keerthy Suresh is the other female lead in the film. She had earlier worked with Vijay in last year's action thriller, Bairavaa. AR Rahman scores the music for Sarkar. The movie is all set to release in November this year.
