Hyderabad, October 5: A man in Andhra Pradesh was arrested on Thursday over his Facebook posts for asking help from Maoists to punish his local MLA. Reports inform that the man, identified as Goriparthi Nagabhushan Yadav from Andhra슬롯사이트™s Krishna district, had allegedly asked the Maoists to punish his local MLA for indulging in defection in his Facebook posts. On the complaint of Pamarru legislator Uppuleti Kalpana, a case was registered against Yadav under Andhra Pradesh SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and the Indian Penal Code.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, Deputy superintendent of police P Mahesh Babu said that Kalpana termed the post as a threat to her life as it abetted the extremists to commit an attack on her, besides defaming her reputation. It must be noted that Sarveswara Rao and Soma were shot dead by Maoists on September 23 when they were returning from a government-sponsored 슬롯사이트˜village visit슬롯사이트 programme. Kalpana alleged that the posts are a clear indication suggesting the hand of YSR Congress in the killing of Araku MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao and former MLA Siveri Soma. YSR Congress senior leader and former minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, however, denied Kalpana슬롯사이트™s charge, saying the TDP is resorting to cheap tactics to gain political mileage out of sensitive issues.

Yadav claims to have worked for the victory of Kalpana as a YSRC activist during the elections. The report informs that Kalpana was elected on the YSR Congress ticket and shifted loyalties to the TDP in December 2016 along with 22 fellow MLAs.
