New Delhi, December 13: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) on Thursday appointed Brijendra Pal Singh, current Vice Chairman of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Governing Council, as the new President of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Society and Chairman of Governing Council. Meanwhile, Singh will be the third person to be appointed as chairperson of FTII by Narendra Modi government. The Film and Television Institute of India is an autonomous institute under the MIB Ministry. The institute established in 1960 is India's premier film and television institute.
