There were plenty in store for fans on WWE Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 41 which has paved the way for some of the feuds we are about to witness in the future. Read below to take a look at all what transpired on WWE Monday Night Raw on April 21.

The Raw after WrestleMania 41 surely did make a mark and paved the way for several future feuds. The WWE Monday Night Raw episode on April 21, which was aired from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, had several moments of action, shocks and some nostalgia involved as well. John Cena, the new WWE Undisputed Champion who had promised to 'ruin wrestling', opened the show, once again with an all-back entrance and hit out at the fans. And the show was closed by Paul Heyman, with his two newest recruits in Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Rusev made his return to the WWE and fans would be very excited to know how this stint pans out. Also, Becky Lynch turned on Lyra Valkyria the night after winning the WWE Women's Tag Team titles alongside her at WrestleMania 41. WWE's next PLE (Premium Live Event) is Backlash, which is set to take place in St Louis. And some of the feuds which gained momentum on Raw might see matches at the event.

 

Randy Orton Takes Down John Cena

John Cena said he would ruin wrestling and he pointed to a graphic on the screen, which showed 36 dates and the number reduced to 27 when he mentioned his appearances so far. He said that when the number would hit '0', he would still be champion and walk out with the title and that 27 was not the number of title defenses but appearances. As he looked to close out the show, Randy Orton appeared from behind and nailed the RKO on his former foe, taking him out in the process. Randy Orton briefly posed with the WWE Undisputed Championship before leaving the ring, indicating that he is next in line for John Cena's title. Bron Breakker Joins Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins, Takes Out CM Punk and Roman Reigns

The main event on Night 1 of WrestleMania 41 witnessed a shock betrayal when Paul Heyman turned on CM Punk and Roman Reigns and joined Seth Rollins, eventually helping him with the Triple Threat match. On Raw, Seth Rollins came out with Paul Heyman and was interrupted by CM Punk, who attacked the 'Visionary' right away but ended up eating a stomp. Soon, it was the 'OTC' Roman Reigns who took out Seth Rollins with the spear and when he turned his attention to Paul Heyman, it was Bron Breakker who speared him out of nowhere. The two would go on to beat down both CM Punk and Roman Reigns and pose over them to close out the show. A tag team match in this feud is not very far away.

Becky Lynch Turns on Lyra Valkyria

A night after making a successful return by winning the WWE Women's Tag Team championship with Lyra Valkyria, Becky Lynch did the unthinkable. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez had their rematch on WWE Monday Night Raw. The Judgement Day regained the tag titles after Lyra Valkyria was hit with the 'Oblivion' after she had inadvertently pushed Raquel Rodriguez into Becky Lynch. Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch hugged after the match when 'The Man' took out the women's Intercontinental Champion and vented her frustration. Becky Lynch Attacks Lyra Valkyria

Rusev Returns to WWE

It has been speculated for some time now and all of those rumours turned out to be true, with Rusev making his return to the WWE. The Alpha Academy came out to interrupt The New Day who won the WWE World Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 41 and Rusev made his return in this segment. He used a new theme music in the WWE this time and attacked the Alpha Academy.

Iyo Sky Takes on Stephanie Vaquer

Iyo Sky, who retained the WWE Women's World Title at WrestleMania 41, was interrupted on Raw by NXT Women's Champion Stephanie Vaquer, who challenged her to a match and it got underway with Adam Pearce making it official. But there was an intervention from Roxanne Perez, who was joined by newly turned heel Giulia as well. As they attacked Stephanie Vaquer and Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley made her way out to the ring and took out Roxanne Perez. Giulia and Rhea Ripley had a stare down before the latter handed the WWE Women's World title to Iyo Sky.

Gunther Attacks Michael Cole and Pat McAfee

Gunther, who lost to Jey Uso on the other hand, was livid and called for some respect. The 'Ring General' attacked Michael Cole and when Pat McAfee intervened and pushed him away, the former champion locked him in a sleeper hold and choked him out with officials coming out to stop him.

Jey Uso Celebrates With This WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Sami Zayn Congratulates Him

Jey Uso celebrated his success at WWE WrestleMania 41 with the fans and the newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion was joined by none other than Sami Zayn and his brother. The three celebrated in the ring as Jey Uso's music played in the background.

Other Results/Events on WWE Monday Night Raw

New Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor buried their issues after what happened at WWE WrestleMania 41 and this match witnessed the return of JD McDonagh, who was on the sidelines with an injury sustained on Raw earlier this year. He screwed Penta, helping Dominik Mysterio pick up the win. Also, Karrion Kross had a tense exchange with AJ Styles backstage after what happened at WrestleMania 41.
